About Jenny

With a degree in French and a postgraduate diploma in Secretarial and Business Studies I started out in office management and sales in London.  Later I relocated to Bristol, took a P.G.C.E. and enjoyed a successful career in secondary teaching for 10 years, moving on to primary age teaching, advisory work and teacher training.   I am a born organiser and have always taken a keen interest in physical surroundings and how they affect our mood and productivity whether it be in offices, classrooms or homes.  

After gaining experience in renovating properties and planning extensions, in 2005 I took four months off from my usual work to project manage the extension and complete remodelling of a four bedroom house.  I enjoyed this immensely and the finished product was such a success that friends and aquaintances began to ask for my help with decluttering, space planning and kitchen planning. The positive feedback on my organisational skills and my ability to visualise creatively gave me the confidence to retrain in Interior Design.

SORT YOUR S P A C E  aims to restore order and calm to people's homes and lives by helping them to visualise, plan and achieve the best use of their space for organised living.

SORT YOUR S P A C E has so far helped busy Mums, a hard working bachelor, growing children, people moving house and people who want to stay and make the most of their existing space.  With my administrative skills I have also been able to help the recently bereaved deal with their burden of paperwork as well as sensitively working with them to sort out their loved one's belongings.  People like my friendly manner and my ability to achieve quick results.   Please see testimonials.
