She then worked with him and a structural engineer before coming up with a design which has made excellent use of the space available. Jenny was regularly on site to answer the builder's questions and make the day to day decisions which kept the project on time and on budget. Jenny thought about every detail in advance - things I would never have thought of - like where to put the sockets, lighting and switches, what size windows, which way the doors would hang, and planning where all the furniture would go, etc. She also designed some useful recessed shelving and a dressing room while the partition walls were being built . "I recently spent a very successful decluttering session with Jenny. With her positive know-how and practical advice a job I had been putting off for along time amazingly only took an hour. This has left me feeling motivated to carry on decluttering other areas using the helpful tips she passed on to me.
The next hour was spent discussing plans for redesigning the playroom into more of a family den. It is a small and awkward shaped room which I felt required expert planning. Ten days later I received plans of two potential layouts incorporating all the relevant specifications. The plans are fantastic. This is now a great project we are all going to enjoy seeing develop....
